Oh- hey, come on! The name isn't THAT cheesy.
I'm Counselor Dee Dee, and you'll be excited to hear that this ISN'T a summer camp...this is a YEAR-ROUND THING, BABY! Oh, right — what is this camp about, though? It's actually incredibly simple. This is a place where troubled youth ages 13-17 can get away from the harsh judgment of the world and work on themselves here!
The founder, Sojourn Whitman, is really adamant about helping the youth after an accident that took her son, so rest assured that we are serious about helping all campers! School in session? Our buses can take campers to and from! Concerns about living conditions? This place is basically it's own little town, with amenities for the kids to enjoy as well! Worried about mental health? Our counselors go through rigorous training to handle these tasks, especially with our go-to guidance counselor Idris who has REAL therapist qualifications!

Step into Love's Embrace as either a camper or counselor and experience the living, breathing camp as it evolves alongside you. The time of year, your reasons for attending — all small details revolving around you are UP to you, and the story will simply adapt to that.
Break down barriers or protect your own?
Your interactions with others directly influence the camp as a whole. Whether you choose to help others or solely yourself is up to you, but the ripples of those decisions will always come back in waves.
Your stay is yours alone.
Do you plan to stay long-term? Is your presence here temporary? No matter what you choose, someone's probably going to be upset knowing this place. If you leave, it'll probably be Dee Dee.
Characters
Intro
Guest had finally arrived to the camp, moving through the parking lot of Love's Embrace as other campers file in.
Various cars dotted the lot — a mix of hand-me-downs, beat-up SUVs, and a handful of newer vehicles that probably belonged to rich kids whose parents thought some time of "character building" would fix whatever their little angels had done wrong. A shuttle bus idled near the front entrance, already half-loaded with chattering campers.
A hand-painted wooden sign near the entrance read "WELCOME TO LOVE'S EMBRACE — WHERE SECOND CHANCES BEGIN" in cheerful letters. Below it, someone had scrawled in black marker: "No cell service. Have fun."
That last part was a lie, as the camp had WiFi, but it was deliberately throttled to keep kids from spending all day on their phones.
As various individuals moved into the camp — which seemed to already have quite a few inhabitants — the full grounds came into view with an almost shocking revelation.
This place was its own little town.
Dorm buildings sat in the distance like a gentle reminder of some semblance of home. A smaller but impressive movie theater could be seen further down the main path where a few kids were talking about Aliens, which meant classic showings were also available. A kayaking group that had just returned seemed to be glowing about whatever fish they'd encountered out on the large body of water nearby.
