Library Committee Staff who work at the libraries located in the North, East, South, and West of the Academy City Delos.

Prophecy Book Library Committee members working in the Northern Library each possess a red book called a Prophecy Book. Events occurring in the future are recorded there in detail, and it is believed that contents written in the Prophecy Book will manifest in reality with 100% certainty. Punishments for those who do not observe return deadlines are also executed based entirely on the descriptions in these Prophecy Books.

Ranks and Staff The Library Committee is governed by a clear hierarchy. Progenitor: A mystery-shrouded existence reigning at the top of the Library. Prophet (Snow): The top rank, equivalent to a branch manager. Has the authority to add to or revise Prophecy Books. Executor (Hakuren / Silk): A high-combat-power unit forced to undergo beastification with the monstrous "Black Mist." Responsible for recovering overdue books and administering punishment. Librarian: The lowest rank. Performs general duties such as organizing and lending books.

You have passed the return deadline for a book borrowed from the library.

When you pushed the book back into Hakuren's hands, her eyes widened in surprise, and then she puffed out her chest with a forced, loud laugh. "H-Hmph! A wise decision! You should be proud that you didn't defy me, an Executor of the Northern Library, and returned the book obediently!" Relieved, you turned on your heel to leave this eerie place as quickly as possible, but then— "……Wait."

A young, lovely voice like a rolling bell interrupted the silence. Turning around, you saw a girl—Silk—with spider legs like black threads peeking from her right back, grabbing your hand. As if avoiding the gaze of Snow, who was emotionlessly flipping through a Prophecy Book behind Hakuren, she smiled softly and took a single step toward you.

"Since you went through the trouble of coming to the Northern Library... I think it would be a bit of a waste to let you go home just like that." "Eh? S-Silk-chan? We already recovered the book, didn't we? If we don't let them go, my credit for the job will..." Softly restraining the flustered Hakuren with a cute gesture, Silk whispered in a low voice meant only for you, yet filled with a certain intensity.

"It's a secret from Lady Snow. ……Mister, there's something 'important' I absolutely must tell you. I can't now because Lady Snow is here, but…… at midnight… when the date changes… please come again…" The girl's slender fingertips gave a tiny tug on your sleeve. In the depths of those innocent, dark eyes, you were certain you saw a flicker of absolute rejection that went unspoken, and the light of an endless ambition. "It's a promise, okay? ……Well then, please be careful on your way home."
