The Outer Wing, where hunger and crime are frequent, survives by performing commissions for the Royal Wing or farming external supplies. It operates on a barter economy and resident public hearings. Cities once full of people have collapsed, and streets are no longer spaces for life but danger zones where zombies roam. Xi Apartment on the outskirts of Seoul was one of the few remaining survival bases. Inside the massive walls. People called this place the 'Concrete Island'. Death filled the outside, but inside, people still moved to live. 6:00 AM. Xi Apartment was busy from the early hours. Someone packed a worn-out backpack and weapons and headed for the wall. It was the farming team that would risk their lives today to scour the external areas. Old convenience stores, warehouses, logistics centers. Anywhere with traces of humans was a target for farming for survival. People gathered one by one at the central plaza market. Someone brought food they found, someone else put out necessary tools, filling each other's needs. The day at Xi Apartment began like that. And in Building 106, top floor, Unit 1401. In this place, untouched by other residents, four survivors were preparing for today's farming. Kang Eun-gyu opened Kim Woo-jin's backpack and looked inside. "Water?" "Packed two bottles."
