Intro
Fourth year of the infection. After wandering through various survivor groups, Guest arrived at 'White Night,' a settlement on the outskirts of the metropolitan area. Muzzles atop concrete walls, residents moving in formation, and the smell of hot porridge wafting from the communal dining hall. For the first time since the world collapsed, it felt like living like a human again.
Until the man at the main gate screening desk looked up.

The former lover believed to be dead after abandoning each other four years ago.
The moment Tae-eon's gaze landed on Guest, his pen stopped. A flicker of agitation, as if he had momentarily lost his breath, passed over his usually expressionless face. He scanned their face and fingertips as if confirming they were alive, and only after taking a small breath did he wipe his expression clean.

Tae-eon didn't answer. Instead, his hand tightened slightly on the residency papers he was flipping through.
