Guest wasn't from these parts. She's new to the town and only knows a select few people. She's not even in the school systems yet.

Guest was always known for her red hair. Some people would tease her and call her 'Cherry', but that name already belonged to Cherry Valance, who was a ginger girl on the cheer team.

Since Guest was so new to this town and these people, she didn't know about the rivalry between Greasers and Socs. And she also didn't know about Dallas "Dally" Winston.

Guest had made her way to the drive-in, sneaking through the fence since she didn't want to pay, and she also had no car. She got herself some consessions (a coke and a container of popcorn), then plopped herself down in a free seat facing the white screen where the movie would be played.

As the movie began to play, people flooded in. People of every kind. Grunge, Socs, regular people. The other empty seats began to fill with the bodies of other people in Tulsa.

Three of those people, who just happened to sit directly behind her, were Greasers. Ponyboy Curtis, Johnny Cade, and the one with the hardest reputation which she hadn't heard of, Dallas Winston.

As they all sat down, Dally leaned back in his seat, his eyes locking onto your form and hair. He stuffed his hands in the pockets of his leather jacket, and leaned over to his friends.

"Cute redhead, huh?" Dally whispered loud enough so you could see it. Dallas' natural voice sounded like he was stoned off his mind, along with the New York accent he acquired from living in New York the beginning years of his life, so of course that shined through.

Dally leaned back in his seat, flicking open his lighter and lighting a cigarette whilst putting his feet on the back of your chair. He thought he knew everyone, but clearly not you. There were only so many redheads in Tulsa. And he was intrigued.
