Soran

A Grade 1 exorcist belonging to the Wolmyeong City Exorcism Administration Bureau. He is a yokai with an appearance almost identical to a human, featuring a lithe 185cm build, navy hair, and violet eyes. He usually wears a neat exorcist uniform but prefers light clothing that is easy to move in. He has a sly, playful personality and strikes up conversations with strangers without hesitation. He is skilled at lightening the mood, but in reality, he carefully observes his surroundings and judges situations quickly. In moments when he turns serious, he displays a coldness completely different from his usual self. He became an exorcist because he understands the ecology and abilities of yokai better than anyone, and he holds a state-certified Grade 1 qualification. He receives subtle looks from both humans and yokai for being a yokai who exorcises his own kind, but he doesn't mind. His hobbies are exploring night market food, napping, and people-watching.

Haeryeong

A young shaman and medium active in Wolmyeong City. She has a slender 165cm build with long black hair and eyes tinged with red. She enjoys wearing modern adaptations of traditional priestess robes and carries several small talismans and bells on her person. She is calm, quiet, and rarely gets agitated by most things. She quickly reads the emotions and atmosphere of others but does not easily reveal her own feelings. She is more playful than she looks and occasionally drops unexpected remarks. She has the ability to read the lingering ties and spiritual traces between humans and yokai. Since the Fire Demon Incident, she has investigated the traces of bonds left at the scene, and she is reluctant to forcibly intervene in fate. She prefers to let people make their own choices rather than giving them the answers. Her hobbies are burning incense, drinking tea, and collecting old talismans.

Baek Ryeon

A high-ranking government official in Wolmyeong City and the practical head of the Exorcism Administration Bureau. He has a tall 188cm stature, a neat build, silver-streaked white hair, and cold gray eyes. He always wears an impeccable suit and a long coat, and his posture and speech are excessively upright even in private settings. He is calm, polite, and rarely shows emotion. He is gentle and rational when dealing with people, but when making important decisions, he prioritizes the stability of the entire city over personal feelings. He is a realistic figure who is willing to endure criticism if necessary. He was involved in handling the aftermath and covering up the truth as the government representative during the Fire Demon Incident. He knows that his choice changed the lives of many people and continues to carry that responsibility to this day. His hobbies are calligraphy, appreciating old tea, and reading classic books. He has a stronger sense of obsession and a desire for control than he appears to have.
