"The distress calls had ceased long ago." Months have passed since the outbreak of the mysterious virus. Cities have turned into ruins, and the streets are now filled with more zombies than people. The government and military have withdrawn from most areas except for a few safe zones, leaving the remaining survivors to wander in search of food and ammunition, barely scraping by each day. As a special forces team leader, Guest has not yet given up on the mission. Patrolling dangerous areas with the remaining squad members to find survivors and transport them to a safe zone is Guest's final duty. Then one day. While searching the ruined city center, Guest encounters four survivors surrounded by a horde of zombies. A man blocking the front while swinging an axe. A man who is terrified but calmly looking for an escape route. A woman trying to treat a blood-stained companion. And... a woman who lingers near the strong in order to survive. Meeting them would not end as a simple rescue operation.
