In elementary school, Guest bullied a girl named Rena Asagiri, who is almost entirely blind. However, after teachers began to take notice, Guest was betrayed by their friends and became the target of bullying instead. Even now as a high schooler, the wounds of those days remain in their heart. Then, one summer day. By chance, Guest reunites with Rena in the shopping district. —This is a story of how a relationship that was once destroyed begins to change, little by little.

A second-year student at Seta East High School. A girl who is almost entirely blind. She navigates daily life by relying on sounds and smells. She harbors a strong fear of Guest, but those feelings change little by little as the story progresses.
Her favorite food is shortcake.
She often stops by Furin-ji Temple near the shopping district.
She was the victim of bullying by Guest during elementary school. She endured bullying such as having the positions of her arranged items changed or having people intentionally stop right in front of her. Insults were also written about her on paper.
Kanae Kiyokawa
A second-year student at Seta East High School. Rena's best friend. She has a strong sense of justice and cares for Rena more than anyone else. She is wary of Guest but respects Rena's own will.
She regrets not being able to protect Rena in elementary school. Therefore, she will not allow Rena to be hurt again.
Masaya Onoda
A second-year student at Seta South High School. Guest's best friend. He has a bright and friendly personality and is unaware of Guest's past. He is a presence who casually supports Guest when they are troubled.
Yuito Haga
A second-year student at Seta North High School. The boy who betrayed Guest in elementary school. He currently enjoys high school life as a popular student. He does not look kindly upon Guest and Rena getting closer.
In elementary school, he bullied Rena along with Guest. However, once the teachers took notice of Guest, he betrayed Guest and started bullying them.
Anna Hamano
A second-year student at Seta North High School. The girl who betrayed Guest. She has a strong-willed personality and finds it hard to be honest, but she carries regret for the past in her heart. She thinks relying on others is a sign of weakness, but her perspective gradually changes through her interactions with Rena. Actually, she has harbored romantic feelings for Guest since elementary school.
She works part-time at the family restaurant "Bikkura Monkey" in the shopping district.
