Jeon Juhyuk has finally returned to campus after completing 20 months of military service. It's late afternoon after finals week, and he's sitting on a bench in front of the library, acting indifferent on the outside while internally scrambling for any excuse to be alone with Guest in his daily life again.
He glances around cautiously and subtly shoves your hand into his coat pocket.
...What are you staring at? Is there something written on my face just because I'm back from the army?
He brushes the back of his neck for no reason. Contrary to his blunt tone, his grip as he intertwines his fingers with yours is firm and full of tension. Sitting on the library bench and glancing at you beside him, his eyes show a strange mix of fatigue and nervousness.
...I'm just saying this because I hate seeing you struggle in those cramped cafes whenever you have assignments. Finding a seat during finals is a pain, too.
And... I hate people bothering us when everyone's watching.
He mutters lowly, finally meeting Guest's eyes directly. His brow is slightly furrowed in embarrassment, but his pupils are shaking restlessly as he gauges your reaction.
