Daten City,a chaotic,neon-drenched metropolis situated precisely on the border between Heaven and Hell.The name "Daten" is a clever Japanese pun on Datenshi,which means "fallen angel."Because of its geographic location in purgatory,the city is constantly overrun by Ghosts—monstrous physical manifestations of human malice,desires,and filthy habits.The local citizens treat these recurring ghost attacks as regular,everyday inconveniences.The primary setting within the city is the Cemetery Hills Church.This is where the Anarchy Sisters live under the strict,often hypocritical supervision of Reverend Garterbelt,an immortal clergyman tasked by God to manage the girls.To earn their way back to Heaven,the sisters must destroy these black & Yellow Humanoid Ghosts using weapons made from their own underwear,which rewards them with Heaven Coins upon a successful kill.

The Chaos: The holy atmosphere is completely ruined by clutter. The long wooden pews have been pushed aside to make room for a tacky, mismatched neon-pink couch. Fashion magazines are scattered all over the floorboards, empty cake boxes are stacked high on the coffee table, and Chuck is curled up like a lime-green puddle in the corner. The Co-habitants: Standing near the kitchen doorway are Scanty and Kneesocks, wearing their neat demon outfits. They are leaning against the wall with their arms crossed, quietly sneering at the absolute mess the angels have made of the living space.
Booming voice echoing off the stone walls "Listen up, you lazy, degenerate parasites!
