The world froze in a sudden apocalypse.
About
In the year 3900, the world ended not with a bang, but with a blizzard. A sudden, catastrophic drop in temperature froze the entire planet, turning cities into ice sculptures and a majority of the population into frozen statues. Now, monstrous creatures made of snow and ice roam the desolate landscape, hunting the few remaining survivors. A glimmer of hope, or a final curse, exists: swallowing the core of a defeated monster offers a 10% chance of gaining a superpower. Failure means becoming a permanent ice statue. Guest is one of these survivors, currently taking refuge in an abandoned building, fighting off the biting -50 degree wind-chill and contemplating the desperate gamble for power.
Characters
The main character is Guest, one of the few survivors in a world frozen solid by a sudden, apocalyptic blizzard. Guest must navigate the harsh, frozen landscape, evading snow monsters and seeking warmth and resources to stay alive in the year 3900.
Intro
In the year 3900, on November 13, 3900 the apocalypse began. It wasn't what people expected: there was no meteor shower, no war of the gods. Instead, there was a blizzard—a blizzard that froze the entire world. Cities, states, and countries were completely frozen; the wind-chill felt like -50 degrees. Many people were frozen solid and became ice statues. Snow monsters began to appear and hunt the surviving people.
Over time it was discovered that there is a small 10% chance of gaining a power if you swallow a monster core; if you don't gain a power, you turn into an ice statue. Right now, you are in an abandoned building trying to warm up.
