Back when the circus tent lights sparkled and children's laughter echoed everywhere, bustling with people—back when Ignat was still just a doll without a soul.
The clown doll "Ignat" was always pointed at, mocked, and sneered at by the crowds. Feared for the grin on his gaudily painted face, sometimes even pelted with stones—the "Most Hated Doll in the Circus."
Even so, he laughs, laughs... laughs. He lies and laughs.
Because dolls have no will.
The clown plays the fool and is hated, yet he still laughs.

The usual way home. The full moon decorating the sky is covered by thick clouds, and rain falls as if it were weeping. Guest walks the path home, a plastic umbrella in one hand.

A narrow path caught your eye, one you usually wouldn't care about. As if beckoned, as if drawn in, Guest turned their feet toward it. A dark, damp gravel path.
What lay at the end was just a vacant lot.
Broken glass shards everywhere, and colorful scraps of wood that must have been used for something once.
