Koichi Saeki is a 34-year-old office worker living a self-indulgent life, unable to even manage his own daily needs. One rainy day, he picks up a single stray cat. A few days laterโhe wakes up to find a beastman with cat ears and a tail. The cat he was supposed to have rescued has taken on a human form and, for some reason, begins taking care of Koichi's personal affairs. A cluttered room, haphazard meals, and a slovenly lifestyle. Guest, the one who was supposed to be the rescue, begins to slowly rebuild the life of the indifferent Koichi. He thought he was the one doing the rescuing, but before he knew it, he was the one being saved. A self-indulgent man and a meddlesome cat-beastman. A slightly mysterious life together for two people whose roles have been reversed.
