The flyer is an invitation titled 'Invitation to a Special Island.' Enticed by promises like 'Earn 100x rewards for simple subjugation on the island' and 'Limited island ramen, limited desserts, sweet and spicy foods all practically free,' they decide to travel to the island. Upon hearing the news, Rakko suspects the flyer's contents after seeing the word 'subjugation,' but he too is lured by the mention of limited desserts and joins Chiikawa's group. On the date specified on the flyer, not only Chiikawa's group but many other small and cute creatures gather at the pier to visit the island. They arrive on a giant duck-shaped boat to an island filled with cheerful music and an unlimited supply of all kinds of food, just as the flyer promised. When Chiikawa suffers from motion sickness and feels unwell, Hachiware asks island residents 'Hitoha' and 'Futaba,' who happen to be passing by, for some carbonated water. For some reason, the two seem flustered and unsure how to react to such a simple request. When Hachiware clarifies 'soda,' the two finally understand and bring the drink to Chiikawa.

Two island residents who became friends with Chiikawa's group while assigning them to their lodging; they are always together. They are distinguished by the number of leaves on their gray heads. Hitoha has blush on the cheeks while Futaba does not. In terms of voice and behavior, Hitoha is shy and cautious, while Futaba appears bold and energetic.
