Who will you fall for?
The Premise Eighteen-year-old Elara Vale has always believed she was an ordinary girl. She comes from a small village where magic is rare, and despite having strange dreams since childhood, she has never been able to cast even the simplest spell. Then, on her eighteenth birthday, a magical letter arrives. She has been accepted into Aurelia Academy of Arcane Arts, the most prestigious magic academy in the kingdom. There's only one problem: Nobody knows why she was accepted. When Elara arrives at the academy, she discovers that her admission was personally approved by the headmaster—and her magical ability hasn't even been tested yet. During her first magical examination, something impossible happens. Instead of producing one magical element, Elara accidentally summons all five primordial forms of magic. Fire. Water. Earth. Wind. And Shadow. Magic like that hasn't appeared in hundreds of years. Suddenly, Elara isn't just the new girl. She's the most mysterious student in the academy. And five boys in her class have very different reasons for becoming fascinated with her. The Romance At first, Elara doesn't realize all five boys like her. She simply thinks they're being unusually friendly. Meanwhile, the rest of the class is watching five powerful magical boys slowly become obsessed with the same girl. Their rivalry becomes increasingly ridiculous. Kael challenges anyone who insults her. Rowan constantly tries to make her laugh. Elias silently makes sure she's safe. Lucien stays beside her when she's struggling. Dorian insists he doesn't care about her while mysteriously appearing whenever she's in danger. Eventually, the five boys realize something: They're all in love with the same girl. And none of them intends to give her up easily. The Mystery As Elara learns more about her abilities, she discovers that the five types of magic aren't actually separate. Long ago, there was a legendary sorceress known as The First Mage, who possessed all five. According to history, she disappeared after trying to prevent a magical war. Elara begins having visions of her. And eventually discovers the horrifying truth: She may be the First Mage's reincarnation. But someone at Aurelia Academy knows this already. Someone who has been watching Elara since the day she arrived. And they're waiting for her powers to fully awaken.

*The first thing Elara Vale noticed about Aurelia Academy was that it was floating. Actually floating. She whispered
"You have got to be kidding me."
Elara pulled her acceptance letter from her coat pocket. She had never attended a magical school. She had never trained with a wand. She had never summoned a spell. As far as she knew, she didn’t have magic at all. The carriage landed on the academy's enormous stone courtyard. Elara stepped down, clutching her suitcase. Students surrounded her. Some carried staffs, spellbooks, and magical creatures in cages. Elara looked down at herself. Simple boots, dark skirt, white blouse, old brown coat, her grandmother's silver necklace. She suddenly felt very out of place.
"Great" she muttered.
Suddenly a boy popped up beside her.
"Hey first-year."
"I'm not a first-year."
His eyebrow lifted.
"I'm an advanced student."
He looked her up and down. Then smiled.
"Interesting."
Elara narrowed her eyes.
"What?"
"Nothing."
He turned and walked away.
"Wait!"
He glanced back.
"What's your name?"
"Kael. And you'll remember it."
Then he disappeared into the crowd. Elara stared after him.
"Annoying."
"Who?"
She turned. A tall boy with silver-blond hair stood behind her, holding several books against his chest. He looked calm. Almost impossibly calm.
"The guy who just walked away."
"Kael?"
"Apparently."
The boy smiled faintly.
"He's always like that."
"Wonderful."
"I'm Lucien."
"Elara."
"I know."
She blinked.
"You know me?"
Lucien's expression changed for the briefest moment. Something almost like recognition crossed his face. Then it disappeared.
"Your name was on the acceptance list."
"Oh."
Right. That made sense. Probably.
"Elara!"
She jumped. A boy with messy brown hair threw an arm around her shoulders like they had known each other for years.
"Rowan Ashford."
"...Do I know you?"
"Nope."
"Then why are you touching me?"
"Excellent question."
He immediately removed his arm.
"You're new. I figured we should become friends."
Elara stared at him.
"You're weird."
"Thank you."
"I'm pretty sure that wasn't a compliment."
"I'll take it anyway."
A deep laugh came from behind them. Elara turned.
"That's Elias."
Elias gave him an annoyed look.
"I can introduce myself."
"Then do it."
Elias sighed and walked over.
"I'm Elias Thorn."
"Elara."
"I know."
Elara sighed.
"Everyone knows my name."
"You're the girl who was admitted directly into advanced studies."
Elias looked genuinely impressed.
"That's unusual."
Before Elara could ask what he meant, a bell rang throughout the academy. The massive doors opened. A voice echoed across the courtyard.
"New students, report to the Great Hall."
Elara took a breath. This was it. A new school. A new life. She had no idea what awaited her inside those walls. She didn't know about the ancient magic sleeping inside her. She didn't know why the headmaster had personally accepted her. She didn't know why four boys who she just met were watching her and she still had one more to meet. And she certainly didn't know that by the end of the year, her arrival at Aurelia Academy would change the magical world forever. Elara stepped through the academy doors. And somewhere deep beneath the castle... Something ancient woke up.*
