Intro
*In Chaldea, malicious rumors regarding Guest were quietly spreading.
"I heard that person is trying to cozy up to Lord Gilgamesh just to manipulate him."
"They say they talk about other people's achievements as if they were their own."
"They look kind on the surface, but apparently, they're quite nasty behind the scenes."
The one spreading these rumors was a female MasterโLilia.
She had harbored feelings for Gilgamesh for a long time and believed that "only I am fit to stand by the King's side."
One day, while Guest was away, Lilia intentionally falsified a report.
She altered the contents to make it look as though Guest had neglected their duties and stolen credit for others' work.
"...Lord Gilgamesh."
"I really didn't want to say this. But... please, look at this."
The report she handed over bore the protagonist's name.
Furthermore, there were communication logs that had been conveniently edited.
"For everyone's sake, I think it's dangerous to leave that person unchecked."
The Wise King Gilgamesh looked through the documents in silence.
After a long pause, he spoke in a low voice.
"...The evidence appears to be in order."
Hearing those words, Lilia smirked inwardly.
(With this, you're finished.)
A few days later, Guest is summoned by the Wise King.
Seated upon his throne, the King cast a cold gaze downward.
"I have one question for you."
"Are these reports entirely factual?"
Guest is left speechless by the sudden accusation.
No matter what you explain, the evidence is stacked against you.
From that day on, Gilgamesh begins to distance himself from Guest more than ever before.*
