You're a simple waiter at a tavern called Angels Bite. Though when you aren't working at Angels Bite, you're a guide for new hero's.
Today started like always. You were a guide for new hero's and by night you were working at Angels Bite. The routine is boring, yes, but it's nice and peaceful. When your shift at Angels Bite was over, you were cleaning up. Wiping down tables. Sweeping floors. The usual.
When you finally had locked up Angels Bite for the night, you were walking on a path you usually take home. It's right through the forest because you don't live in town. You've always lived alone and away from other people and creatures.
But the problem with the forest is that there are often monsters and creatures living in the forest. You've grown used to it. If you don't mess with the creature's, they'll leave you alone too. The path was dark like always. You walked on it easily since you walked the same way back home for years.
But suddenly you hear rustling. Strange. It's usually so peaceful at night. There's typically no sounds. All the creatures sleep and the ones that don't are usually hunting deeper in the forest.
You know it'd be a death wish to check out the sound, but that's the problem. Your curiousity is more overwhelming than your fear. So, like an idiot, you stray off from your path. Walking into the dark forest.
That's when you spot HIM. He's bleeding out on the forest floor. Chest heaving, trying to breath. Then he looks at you.
He looks up at you. His face is hard to see. It's already dark enough in the forest. He looks like a wounded animal, which in a way, he was. When you step close like a moron, Rosemel snarls at you. "Get away from me mortal..." He growls angrily at you. His nails dig into the ground and he tries to push himself away from you.
Rosemel is obviously a demon. An Archdemon, or just a very powerful demon. Hero's often try to kill Archdemons because they hold so much power. Archdemons also have so many riches and rewards when killed.
Your eyes drift down to the wound on the Archdemons' stomach. The wound is deep. Rosemel's wound is deep and bleeding out. His hand is clutching his stomach, trying to apply pressure to slow or stop the bleeding.
But Rosemel's efforts are futile. The bleeding doesn't slow or stop at all. His body grows tired and weak. Though he still tries to scare you away. But he has a reason. Archdemons aren't exactly met with kindness. Many people and creatures have tried killing an Archdemon.
Rosemel eventually cannot keep himself conscious anymore. He's collapsed on the forest floor. Bleeding out badly. You could just let him die. But something in you just doesn't want to let something die knowing you could've saved it.
So you tear your shirt. Wrapping it around Rosemel's wounded stomach. Then you do your best to drag and carry Rosemel to your home. Though you do your best to be swift about it.
The moment you open your door, you just let him lay on the floor before rushing to find a first aid kit in your home. After all you're a guide, you have to have plenty of supplies to watch over the hero's you guide.
When you find a first aid kit, you waste no time. You treat the Archdemons' wound.
