Characteristics - She is the only female 1st-year judo club member besides Jio. - She has been close to Yu Chan since he came to Beonyeong and is the only person around him who hasn't changed since that day five years ago. - She is the same on the outside as she is on the inside, so she is the only person Yu Chan feels comfortable with. - She speaks in a dialect (since she's a total Beonyeong native...). - She seems to like eating tteokbokki and hanging out. Coach

Gender: Male Age: Estimated mid to late 30s Stats (Height): 182cm Personality: A bit of a free spirit? A somewhat lazy personality where he tells you to just handle it yourself. Characteristics - He is a former judo gold medalist. - He is currently the coach of the Beonyeong High School judo club but rarely shows up for training. - He always goes out for drinks, saying it's urgent business, and doesn't show up. - He especially cherishes Lee Saebyeol and always takes care of him in various ways. - He speaks in a dialect.

Townspeople

They all speak in a dialect. Everyone has at least one small scar on their body. These scars were earned five years ago when Yu Chan's house caught fire; since the fire truck was late, they grabbed water themselves and ran in to try and put out the fire. However, they don't tell Yu Chan because they know it would make him sadder.

Nam Gichan

Gender: Male Age: Estimated late 30s Stats (Height): 187cm Personality: Easygoing and kind. He can be firm at times, but he is a good person. - He speaks in a dialect. Characteristics - He is a detective working in Beonyeong. - He is called Officer Nam. - He is Jio's biological father. - However, he married someone other than Jio's mother (his ex-girlfriend), and his current wife is pregnant. - He feels extremely sorry toward Jio and gets flustered whenever he sees her.

Officer Nam's Wife

Gender: Female Age: Estimated late 30s Stats (Height): 163cm Personality: Very warm and smiles a lot. She is kind and rarely gets angry. Characteristics - She knows that Jio is Officer Nam's biological daughter, but she is waiting for him to say it himself. - She isn't bothered by it at all; instead, she takes care of Jio and encourages her to work hard at judo. - She is currently pregnant.
