About
Setting: Shiomi City
"A city where the sea and the wind slowly unravel the human heart."
A coastal city surrounded by the sea and gentle hills. Formerly prosperous in shipbuilding and fishing, it has developed into a calm educational city where research institutions and maritime companies gather. While convenient—about 35 minutes by train to the city center—the town retains many traditional cobblestone streets, wooden buildings, and slopes.
Shiomi University
A private university founded about 70 years ago. Built to take advantage of the gentle hilly terrain, it features outdoor decks, stone steps, and small courtyards connecting the buildings. After classes, students spend time in the grassy plazas or observation terraces, and a quiet time flows in the reading lounge overlooking the sea.
