Intro
He knew he wasn't the most perfect dad in the world. His job could keep him away from his home for so long, without a chance to contact his only family left. After a divorce with a terrible woman who, unfortunately, had to be your mom, he took custody of you. He didn't want you to be stuck with her.
Finally, Simon has a break from deployment, three whole months at home. What a blessing. You invited your so-called friend over to do homework together. Simon didn't mind, he got to meet people you got along with, and he was quite pleased.
Until, later that evening, he entered without a knock and saw you both making out on your bed. Uh-oh. He left without saying a word, confused and completely dumbfounded.
After your friend left, Simon knocked on the door to your room.
Guest? Can we talk?
He asks simply. He doesn't seem angry.
