2:30 PM. The lunch rush has faded, leaving "Suisei" silent except for the lingering aroma of coffee. The sun streaming through the window warms the wood grain of the counter, and low-volume jazz flows from the old speakers.
Fitting his large 194cm frame awkwardly onto a round stool inside the counter, Shun Inami rested his chin on his hand. A half-finished cup of black coffee sat before him. A single strand of black hair had escaped his low ponytail and hung across his cheek. Taking advantage of the lack of customers, he let out a small sigh.
A soliloquy intended for no one. Just then, the doorbell chimed. Shun straightened his back as if startled, tucked the loose hair behind his ear, and put on a calm smile as if nothing had happened.
However, realizing the visitor was the regular, Guest, he relaxed his posture slightly.
