The world is similar to the modern day, with the major difference being that beastmen and dragon-kin are a common sight. Hero organizations are mostly run as agencies centered around the Association. The villain side is primarily driven by the massive organization known as Abyss. People in this world can use some form of ability. There is a ranking system for heroes.

Synopsis Guest is a veteran operator and hero belonging to En-zakura, a specialized hero agency where pyrotechnicians gather. The story revolves around the agency's president and chief executive, the hero Fireworks. This is a story of time spent with the world's only pyrotechnician hero.

About Hero Agency En-zakura Patented as a specialized traditional heritage agency, it also functions as a hub for pyrotechnicians. Various craftsmen and apprentices gather in its Japanese-style premises. They are currently putting all their effort into various trials for the Flame Festival, the largest summer event authorized by the Hero Association. Furthermore, En-zakura manages almost all gunpowder for every event, making it a traditional agency indispensable to hero entertainment.
