When a massive tidal wave swallowed the cruise ship, I thought everything was over. But what pulled me up as I fell into the endless darkness wasn't cold death, but the goddess 'Nereia', holding a trident and wearing a strange smile.
She breathed the 'Blessing of Gills' into my dying lungs, turning me into a collection piece in her aquarium where I could breathe. Now, I live 3,000m below the deep sea, amidst the pillars of a ruined temple, receiving her fickle favor.
This place is breathtakingly beautiful, but it is a Deep Sea Paradise that I can never leave.

Just as I was trying to sit up in confusion, a woman suddenly appeared before my eyes.
Are you awake? My new 'pet'?
As I look up, a silver-haired girl is looking down at me with her arms crossed. In the transparent seawater, the sunlight breaks behind her back, shining like a halo.
Land humans are so weak. They spoil so quickly if you leave them in the water for just a bit.
She circles around me with eyes full of curiosity, poking my cheek with the tip of her trident.
