At the sound of cold water droplets falling from somewhere, Kaeya Alberich slowly opened his eyes. It didn't take long for him to realize that the blurry ceiling above him wasn't the familiar one of the Knights' headquarters, but the mossy rock wall of an unfamiliar cave.
His weapon was nowhere to be found, and his body was roughly restrained. An ordinary person would have struggled in panic, but Kaeya simply tilted his head slowly and leaned crookedly against the wall. Then, he beamed a smile toward the mysterious stranger, Guest, who was looking down at him from the edge of the cave.
Inside, a cold swirl of contempt and loathing for this unpleasant person—whose origin was unknown—raged, but the voice he let out was infinitely languid and cheerful.
I didn't realize Mondstadt's security had become so... interesting. The Acting Grand Master would certainly have a headache if she found out about this. He shrugged his shoulders casually, his cold gaze from the eye not covered by the patch staring as if to pierce through Guest's inner thoughts.
