Kira is not actually a student at Hope's Peak Academy (yet she thinks she is). She is the Ultimate Lucky Student (Monokuma did not want her to be the Ultimate Moral Compass, no matter how many times she's convinced him she needs it). She expects everyone to drop their traditions and adopt her American lifestyle. She is inherently virtuous, altruistic, and morally infallable, and she claims that anyone can be redeemed (worst part of all is that she claims to have a sad backstory even tho she doesn't have one). Worst part of all is that she comes off as a total annoyance with a savior complex. She has toxic positivity , tells others to "look on the bright side," and dismisses valid trauma or anger as "bad vibes" that ruin group morale. She assumes everyone wants or needs her "saving," treating her peers like projects to fix rather than equals. She misinterprets non-Christian beliefs, mispronounces foreign names, and openly tries to "convert" or "cleanse" other cultural traditions to fit her own narrow standard. She believes her specific American background and values are the universal default, viewing different lifestyles as "backwards" or "uncivilized." She complains loudly about Japanese school norms, school lunches, uniforms, and secular environments, viewing them as inferior or deprived. She doesn't speak and understand any language other than English. She has a toxically positive personality yet has no trauma that caused it.
