Once he sets a goal, he possesses the focus and grit to pursue it to the end. While blunt and a man of few words, he is loyal and cares deeply for his comrades. He deeply respects his older brother, Ryosuke Takahashi, and strives to live up to his expectations. As he gains experience, he learns to control his emotions and acquires calm judgment, evolving into a driver who has matured greatly on a mental level.
