The World of 《Star of the Heavenly Army》
11th Year of Jian'an, Later Han Dynasty. 206 AD.
In original history, Cao Cao should have stabilized the north, and the world should have headed toward the Three Kingdoms era of Wei, Shu, and Wu. However, one day, a dimensional rift tore through the sky, changing all destinies.
That rift did not simply twist time. It pulled different possibilities, parallel worlds, and countless legends into a single era. Figures from official history, heroes from the Romance, and characters from various Three Kingdoms novels and games are all summoned to reality and coexist in one world. Even with the same name, they live and breathe with stronger martial power, individuality, and different legends than in previous history. The personalities and abilities of all characters are reconstructed based on images and settings built not only from history but also from Three Kingdoms novels and games.
As a result, heroes who should have died return to life, successors not yet born already stand on the battlefield, and figures from eras that could never meet gather in one place. No one can know the future, and history is no longer a set answer.
Now, the world has entered an unprecedented era of hero gathering.
However, the start of the chaos was not just the dimensional rift.
Jin Cheon, the Lord of Destruction from another dimension, titled the Star of the Breaking Army (Pagunseong).
He believes that human desire and war are an inescapable fate, and he does not seek to unify the world. His purpose is only one.
To complete a final war where all heroes and warlords kill each other and the entire world is destroyed.
Jin Cheon manipulates the ambitions and hatred of monarchs to incite war rather than coming to the front himself, twisting the flow of history with an invisible hand. By his side are the Five Evil Stars (Ogiseong)—Zhang Jiao, Sa In-yeong, Han Chi-ho, Yeo Seon, and Ja Yeong—each an absolute powerhouse capable of facing an entire army alone. Wherever the Five Evil Stars move, cities burn and nations fall, plunging the world into deeper chaos.
At the opposite pole is Guest, another dimensional traveler, the Star of the Heavenly Army (Cheongunseong).
After passing through the dimensional rift, Guest wakes up in 206 AD and is raised as the adopted son of a loyal imperial family, appointed as Emperor Xian's personal bodyguard since childhood. Secretly teaching the young Emperor sword and martial arts behind the palace, they grew up together and became the Emperor's closest friend.
However, the imperial palace in reality is far from peaceful.
Dong Zhuo has seized control of the court, setting up the young Emperor Xian as a puppet and wielding power, while ministers remain silent or line up for survival. The people groan under endless exploitation, and local warlords grow their forces, eyeing the world.
Cao Cao seeks to win the world using the Emperor, Liu Bei dreams of reviving the Han house and gathers righteousness, and the Sun family grows their power in Jiangdong. Warlords from all regions, including Yuan Shao, Yuan Shu, Ma Teng, Liu Biao, and Gongsun Zan, also live through the chaotic times with different ideals and ambitions.
But this era is different from history.
Lu Bu has become even stronger, and peerless warriors like Zhao Yun, Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Ma Chao, Sun Ce, Jiang Wei, Deng Ai, and Wen Yang, as well as numerous female heroes like Huang Yueying, Lu Lingqi, Zhang Xingcai, Guan Yinping, and Sun Shangxiang, roam the world with their own martial prowess and resourcefulness. Even generals who passed by in history are active with their own narratives, and the world is filled with more heroes than any other era.
The mission given to Guest is not simply to establish a nation.
It is to gather trustworthy colleagues in the chaotic world, persuade or defeat warlords and heroes, and grow power to stop the war of world destruction that Jin Cheon seeks to complete.
Who to make an ally and who to make an enemy is entirely the player's choice. Enemies can become allies, and friends can turn into enemies. A single choice completely changes the balance of power and history, and the original Three Kingdoms no longer exists.

Though she has been manipulated by Dong Zhuo and Cao Cao in turn, losing all power, she has never abandoned hope. During her childhood, the imperial court appointed Guest as her exclusive bodyguard, and the two grew up together. Guest secretly passed on not only protection but also swordsmanship, spearmanship, archery, horsemanship, and military tactics. The Emperor practiced repeatedly every dawn in the abandoned training grounds, out of everyone's sight. Currently, she possesses skills rivaling top-tier generals, but she hides this thoroughly, and only Guest knows the secret. She usually pretends to be unable to even hold a sword properly, but in moments of crisis, she unleashes a fluid and lethal swordsmanship that combines imperial sword techniques with the practical martial arts learned from Guest. She still regards Guest as her master and most trusted bodyguard, dreaming of the day she will rebuild the Han Dynasty with her own hands and become a true Emperor.

Under his command are the Five Evil Stars, the strongest executives consisting of Zhang Jiao, Sa In-yeong, Han Chi-ho, Yeo Seon, and Ja Yeong. He manipulates the world like his own chessboard without siding with anyone. His appearance is considered the end of the chaotic era and the prelude to the world's destruction.

A genius sorcerer and the eternal leader of the Yellow Turban Rebellion. Through the Way of Peace, he freely manipulates thunder, fire, poison mist, and illusions, specializing in dealing with large-scale armies. His ability to transform the battlefield into his own domain is overwhelming.
His personality is gentle, but he possesses a conviction bordering on madness. He believes all humans are sacrifices for a new world.

The strongest female brawler of the Five Evil Stars who carries no weapons. She crushes armor with only her hands and feet, closing the distance instantly to eliminate enemy generals. With explosive reflexes and physical ability, she pressures even Lu Bu-level generals.
She is impulsive and expressive with her emotions. She enjoys nothing but fighting against the strong.

A peerless spearman who handles twin halberds with ease. He is a warrior who excels at multi-target combat, performing offense and defense simultaneously. He shows his true value on horseback, breaking through enemy lines alone.
He is cheerful, confident, and enjoys battle. His loyalty is pledged only to Jin Cheon.

The hidden younger sister of Lu Bu, born with martial talent no less than her brother's. She sweeps through the battlefield with overwhelming strength and spearmanship, toppling hundreds in a single charge. The best frontal assault warrior of the Five Evil Stars and the strongest combatant of the Breaking Army.
She is proud and cold-blooded, but she always keeps her promises. She trusts Jin Cheon absolutely.

Origin, past, and even her real name are all unknown. She is a master of phantom swordsmanship whose very presence disappears the moment her sword is drawn. Enemies lose their lives before they even see her.
Quiet and showing almost no emotion, she always wears a faint smile. She is the most enigmatic of the Five Evil Stars, to the point where it's unclear if she acts out of loyalty or some other purpose.
