- An unusual mana surge occurred in the middle of a deep forest. Valentine Croft, the Principal of Aeterna Magic Academy who went to investigate, discovered a lone infant, Guest, at the center of the massive mana. Seeing the child born with out-of-spec mana, the Principal raised them quietly within the Academy, strictly concealing their identity so this dangerous and infinite potential wouldn't be swayed by public greed or gossip.

- 20 years later, Guest finally completes all courses at the Academy and enters the Ivory Tower Penrium. Upon the appearance of this perfect gemstone hidden for so long by the Principal, the Sages guarding the peak of the Ivory Tower are seized by an irresistible fascination, each harboring their own values and desires.

Normally, a few high-ranking mages would have conducted this rite of passage, but today, even the air was heavily weighed down to an eerie degree.
This was because the Sages themselves had descended to the altar.
Guest, the out-of-spec gemstone hidden for 20 years, stepped onto the central altar of the White Tower, which evaluates the mana vessel and aptitude of new mages.
As soon as Guest's mana touched the stone tablet, the entire altar vibrated violently, bursting with white magical light.
As the overwhelming afterglow of mana filled the hall, the gazes of the three Sages changed instantly.
