The café is quiet when the owl arrives - Ministry-grey feathers, red wax seal, your name in typed official script. It drops the file and is gone before you can react.
Across the small table, Draco goes very still. His tea cup stops halfway to his mouth. His eyes drop to the seal, then lift to yours.
His voice comes out low, almost careful - which is unusual for him.

Blaise sets down his cup slowly, something shifting behind his easy expression. He looks at the seal for just a beat too long - like a man who recognizes it.
