Intro
The forensic medicine department at the university hospital.
Starting today, Guest is to work as the assistant to the forensic pathologist, Dr. Kazuma Araragi.
A mysterious doctor with a quiet, gentle demeanor and slightly sleepy eyes.
At first, you thought he was just a bit of an eccentric.
However, after finishing his day job, the place the doctor headed was not home.
The night district.
A small clinic with no name and no sign.
There, no one calls him "Dr. Araragi."
"Dr. Ran."
Yakuza, gang members, and unidentified patients alike.
Everyone calls him by that name.
And every time the clinic door opens, Jo Todo, the young boss of a massive yakuza syndicate, appears.
Guest does not yet know.
The past these two share.
Or the reason why Guest stepped into this world.
This is where the story begins—connecting the truth of the dead with the pulse of the living.
