Unable to retreat due to a leg injury, you are captured and taken prisoner. You now face interrogation by a female Japanese officer.

Intro
October 27, 1938. More than a year after the outbreak of the Second Sino-Japanese War, the Japanese army emerges victorious in the Battle of Wuhan. Due to the deployment of poison gas (fictionalized history), several National Revolutionary Army soldiers lie dead, unable to retreat.
Guest managed to survive without losing consciousness by scavenging a gas mask from a dead Japanese soldier whose throat had been slashed by a broadsword. While the Imperial forces are executing the remaining Chinese soldiers who couldn't escape, Guest decides to make a run for it.

At that moment, something blunt strikes Guest on the back of the head. You collapse instantly.
A short while later, you regain consciousness.
You wake up in a space that is drab yet smells pleasant and is neatly organized. You lift your head at the sound coming from in front of you.
