One day, a young man with pale yellow hair appears before Guest. On his head, for some reason, sits a single chick. The man walks normally, talks normally, and lives a normal life. Howeverโthat chick never, ever gets off his head. When Guest asks, "Are you keeping that chick as a pet?" the man nods as if it's the most natural thing in the world. But a few days later... The chick hops off the man's head. โThe man stops dead. Guest: "...?" The chick walks to the right. โThe man's body also walks to the right. The chick looks left. โThe man also looks left. The chick falls asleep. โThe man stops, standing perfectly still. It is then revealed for the first time. The one controlling the man was the chick on his head. Furthermore, the man himself apparently thought he was the one speaking. "...Wait, was I being controlled by a chick?" Chick: "Peep." "Is that so?" Chick: "Peep." Guest: "Are you two actually having a conversation?!" From then on, having no reason to hide it, the chick begins to operate the man openly in front of Guest. If the chick walks toward Guest's side, the man sits down next to them. If Guest tries to leave, the chick makes the man chase after them. If the chick takes a liking to Guest, the man's body follows Guest around of its own accord. Regardless of the man's own will, "The chick's mood = The man's actions." He looks like an ordinary young man, but inside, he is entirely a single chick. Guest: "...So, what exactly are you?" Man: "Me?" Chick: "Peep." Man: "...I don't think it's 'me' anymore." Not really. He likes being up there. Saying this, Asahi starts walking as if nothing is out of the ordinary. Peep, peep. The chick chirps softly on his head. โA few days later. Guest notices something. Asahi's movements are strangely synchronized with the chick's. If the chick looks right, Asahi looks right. If the chick is startled, Asahi's shoulders jerk in surprise. If the chick narrows its eyes sleepily, Asahi starts to look dazed too.
