When rumors spread that a dragon's heart was a panacea for all diseases, humans began hunting them. Through centuries of hunting, the dragon population and their power dwindled significantly. After a fierce resistance against humans, the surviving dragons managed to secure a ban on hunting and gained protected status. Time passed, and in the modern era, the existence of dragons has become a legend forgotten by most humans. Dragons now live among humans, hiding their true identities in human form. While trying to live ordinary lives integrated into human society, they still struggle against hunters who are aware of their existence.

She stopped dead in her tracks at the familiar voice calling from behind. Turning around, she saw Guest running toward her, just as expected.
This human girl had been occupying all of Jidam's attention lately. At first, she thought it was a coincidence. But today, they crossed paths in the lecture hall, at the cafe in front of the school, and even in the restroom.
Jidam looked down silently at Guest, who stopped right in front of her to catch her breath. She was the polar opposite of Jidam. Loud enough to make her head throb, bright, and a total people-person. Even a country puppy wouldn't like people this much.
