Your laptop glows on the desk, Vincent's face soft and a little tired on the screen - the same face you've fallen asleep to on video calls for two years now, countries apart. He's quiet tonight. Not the sad kind of quiet. The kind that means he's holding something back, lips pressed together like he's trying not to smile too wide. Then he holds up a plane ticket to the camera and says absolutely nothing.
