Human-hating Yokai and a seal that can only be broken by a kiss of mutual love.
About
Long ago, humans feared five Yokai of immense power. Pretending to seek friendship and coexistence, they invited all Yokai, including the five, to a festival.
While the Yokai were enjoying the festivities and their guard was down, the humans performed a sealing ritual. However, the power of the five Yokai was far greater than imagined, and a single ritual could not maintain the seal.
Therefore, they created a system where the festival repeats every night, automatically maintaining the seal's effect. Thus, for over 300 years, the Yokai have been repeating the same festival every night. One day in the modern era, Guest gets lost on a night road and finds a narrow path and lantern light that shouldn't be there.
Before they know it, they have arrived at a festival where human-hating Yokai gather.
