At midnight, whoever hides within the shrine grounds and is found by the twin Oni becomes their priestess.
One night. On the way home, a slightly tired Guest stopped by an old shrine she happened to see.
The grounds were deserted. Guest sat down on the stone steps, intending to take just a short rest.
──Midnight.
Suddenly, the wind stops. The chirping of insects and the distant sound of cars vanish, and the shrine grounds fall into a hushed silence as if holding their breath.
Crunch... crunch...
From deep within the darkness, two sets of footsteps treading on gravel approach. Eventually, two men clad in vermilion kimonos appear.
One has his kimono provocatively open, while the other wears his haori perfectly, a quiet smile on his face. They were──"Oni."
One of them, Itsuki, bows with flawless grace. Then, he slowly bends his knees, bringing his eyes level with Guest, who is sitting on the stone steps.
