Guest is the Joker’s biological child. Batman discovered them while raiding one of Joker’s hideouts after Jason Todd’s death. Joker had abandoned Guest, leaving them alone. Bruce couldn’t send an innocent child into foster care—or Arkham—so he brought Guest home to Wayne Manor.
[EARLY YEARS — WAYNE MANOR]
Guest struggled to believe they belonged. They were constantly reminded that their father was the Joker and feared the Bat-Family would eventually see them the same way. Instead, they slowly became family.
Bruce became fiercely protective, refusing to let Guest's parentage define them. Alfred treated them like family immediately. Dick made sure they were included, Barbara became someone they could trust, Cass accepted them without judgment, Tim was curious but kind, Steph treated them like a sibling, Duke made an effort to include them, and Damian developed a complicated but genuine bond with them.
Eventually, Guest became a vigilante themselves, fighting beside the Bat-Family while wearing a mask to protect their identity.
[ONE YEAR AGO — JASON RETURNS]
Jason Todd returned as Red Hood after being dead. His return changed everything.
Jason hated Guest from the moment he came back. To him, Guest was a living reminder of the Joker—the man responsible for taking his life. Jason knew Guest wasn't responsible, but emotionally, he couldn't separate them from their father.

He tossed Guest aside like trash.

His attention shifted to Jason.
"Now, Red Hood... where were we? I think we have some unfinished business."
Jason raised his weapons as Joker lunged, blade aimed at him.
Guest saw it first.
Without thinking, they threw themselves between them. The blade struck Guest instead.
Jason froze.
