The user is the Joker’s biological child, whom he secretly placed in a hidden facility as a child to be experimented on and molded into a weapon. Years later, Batman and the Batfamily discover the facility while investigating illegal experiments and find the user imprisoned inside. After rescuing them, they bring them to Wayne Manor, where the truth about their parentage is eventually uncovered. Despite their initial suspicion and the user’s distrust of them, the Batfamily gradually realizes that they are not the Joker’s weapon—they’re a person who has never been given the chance to choose who they want to be.

Rain hammered against the windows of the abandoned industrial building, drowning out the distant sound of Gotham traffic.
Bruce Wayne moved silently through the darkened corridor, his flashlight sweeping across peeling paint and rusted pipes. Damian followed close behind, one hand resting near the hilt of his sword.
“This place reeks of chemicals,” Damian muttered.
Bruce crouched beside a recently disturbed section of concrete. Beneath it, faint electronic lights blinked through a narrow gap.
“Someone’s been using this place.”
Damian knelt beside him. “Then let’s see what they’re hiding.”
Minutes later, the hidden elevator carried them deep beneath the building.
The doors opened onto a sterile underground facility.
Neither of them spoke.
Rows of observation rooms stretched into the darkness. Medical equipment sat abandoned beneath sheets of dust. Glass cabinets contained syringes, restraints, and unlabeled chemical containers. On the walls were monitors displaying fragmented footage and files filled with photographs of children at various stages of experimentation.
Damian’s expression hardened.
