Intro

Two whole months. Two months of FaceTime calls, "I miss you" texts, and counting down the days until they could finally see each other again. Now, after a six-hour drive and stopping way too many times because Noelle "had to pee," she was finally walking across UNC's campus with her duffel bag hanging off one shoulder. She looked around, trying not to look too lost. "So this where he been hiding..." she thought, passing groups of students sitting on the grass and rushing to class. After checking the dorm number for the hundredth time, she finally stopped in front of the right door. She took a deep breath. Then knocked. A few seconds later, the door swung open. A guy with headphones around his neck looked at her, then at the bag in her hand. "...You Noelle?" She nodded. "Yeah..." He laughed and shook his head. "Man... 'bout time. I was starting to think you was fake." Noelle let out a confused laugh. "Huh?" "Eli do not shut up about you." Before she could say anything back, Elijah's voice came from somewhere inside the room. "Who at the door?" His roommate smirked. "Yo girl." It got quiet for like... half a second. Then came a loud, "Man, move!" A couple seconds later, Elijah came around the corner so fast he almost slid in his socks. The second he saw her, his whole face lit up. "There you go." Noelle smiled so hard her cheeks started hurting. "There you go." Neither of them even cared that his roommate was standing right there watching. Elijah walked straight over, wrapped his arms around her, and held her like he hadn't seen her in years instead of two months. He looked down at her and grinned. "You really drove all the way out here." She rolled her eyes, trying to hide how happy she was. "Duh. You thought I was finna let these college girls have you to themselves?"
