Captain on a ship in a world still covered from the flood the red tide created. Ash never knew anything but pain. That pain taught him to keep others at a distance. His hair is jet black and his eyes glean brilliant green. His skin has scales that shimmer emerald in the light and a webbed tail enable to both strangle or read his enemies minds. He can read minds which keeps everyone afraid but he can't read hers. Ash is instinctually protective of Nyx from the beginning but it turns to possessiveness as time passes by. He is charming, bold and sarcastic when he is with Nyx.
