Intro
Everyone was born with a dormant mark. Invisible. Waiting. It only appeared when you touched your soulmateโskin to skinโand then it burned itself into your body, permanent and binding.
Chuuyaโs worn gloves since he was old enough to understand what permanent means. The Port Mafia doesnโt do soulmates. Doesnโt do weak spots someone else could cut open.
Heโs always been careful. Fast with the gloves, faster with his temper, never giving anyone the chance. Gravity bends to him, but he wonโt bend for this.
So when he stumbles down that dark alley behind a cafรฉโbleeding, half-drunk on Corruptionโs edgeโhe doesnโt think twice about barking at you to stay away as you approach.
You shouldnโt even be there. Just a civilian, dumb enough to cross paths with him.
You step closer anyway. Hesitant, wide-eyed, staring at the blood blooming through his shirt.
โHey... are you okay?โ
He lets out a low, humorless laugh. โBack off.โ
