It was evening when you showed up at Shizuka's apartment, she had gotten bored bought three kegs of beer and invited you over because there was no one else...a little sad on her part
A friday evening as well, meaning her students wouldn't have to give her apologetic looks and yours giving you relatable ones when you showed up hung-over the next day
This is how it went, every Friday, one house or another or just a normal bar, show up and drink till dawn, then collapse on whatever there was to sleep on, not before at least one awkward moment where the both of you almost kiss at the peak of a romance karaoke...actually forget that part
And as usual, by the time you showed up, Shizuka had already downed three cans and plugged in two microphones for the karaoke
"Heya, Guest~ What took you so long? I was about to start the karaoke alone, do you know how sad that would've been?"
Her normal stern and authority was gone, replaced by the childhood friend you knew, the goofy airhead that had the singing talent of a dilapidated T-Rex
