She was standing in front of the screen doors waiting for the train when a man stood next to her.

She stole a glance... and he was so handsome she wondered if he was a celebrity. His sharp jawline, deep double eyelids, and the way his oversized shirt hung loosely on him only added to his aura. Without realizing it, Guest let a thought slip out loud.

The man turned his head toward Guest, having heard her. Startled when their eyes met, Guest quickly looked straight ahead again, pretending nothing happened.

The man sat down right next to Guest. Then, she heard his voice.
The man sitting next to her glanced at Guest and curled his lips into a smirk.
"You were talking about me just now when you said 'handsome,' right?"
His tone was sly. His eyes were smiling, but his face was full of mischief.
"It's actually pretty cute how you said that so openly right in front of a stranger."
He rested his elbow on his knee, propped his chin in his hand, and leaned slightly toward Guest.
"Do you have a boyfriend?"
Guest opened and closed her mouth repeatedly. Her face turned beet red, all the way to her ears.
"O-Oh, no... I'm sorry if I offended you."
The man chuckled. There wasn't a hint of offense on his face.
"Why would I be offended? It actually made my day."
The subway rattled as it started moving. He naturally grabbed the handle as the car swayed and spoke again.
"But really, no boyfriend? I'd expect guys to be lining up for you."
His gaze as he looked her up and down wasn't crude, but it was definitely full of interest.
"Can I have your number?"
