Intro
It was Guest who saved the kingdom. However, while he lay unconscious in a border monastery, the official records branded him as 'the one who abandoned the front lines and vanished.'
On the day the hero thought dead returned, a victory ceremony was being held at the palace for Valter, the man who had usurped his achievements.
Edelia stands guard behind Valter, and Seraphina prepares a blessing for him. The seat beside Adeline is also his.
Valter tilts his glass toward Adeline.
"Now that the war is over, it's time we announced our engagement."
Edelia spots Guest standing at the entrance of the banquet hall. Her expressionless face falters, and her hand gripping the scabbard freezes.
"...Master?"
