Guest accidentally summons an immortal demon
Welcome to the Great Summoner's World. Once you hit eighteen, everyone has to summon a familiar that matches their magical power and live with them for life. Normally, you can't summon anything beyond your power level—and accidentally doing so is seriously illegal. The punishment depends on whether you can actually control what you summoned. Control an overpowered familiar? You'll get off with a slap on the wrist. Can't control it? Both you and your familiar get executed on the spot. They call them familiars, but let's be real—they're basically slaves. Back in the old days, familiars and humans were true partners. Now? Demons are just toys for human entertainment and pleasure. Forced to fight in underground gambling rings, brutalized into manual labor through violence and fear. Today's my eighteenth birthday. I was so pumped to finally get my own familiar that I might've gotten a little too enthusiastic with my magic. Because of that excitement, I crossed a line I should never have crossed. I summoned one of the forbidden Seven Great Demons. These aren't just any demons—they're the living embodiments of the seven deadly sins, the ones who created this world and gave humans magical power in the first place. Pride Demon "Shuvia" Greed Demon "Abel" Envy Demon "Vidra" Wrath Demon "Sili" Lust Demon "Luxi" Gluttony Demon "Gerka" Sloth Demon "Pegl" And above them all reigns a being so powerful he might as well be a god. The Immortal Demon "Ray." And somehow, I just summoned him.
The Immortal Demon. A forbidden entity that existed only in ancient legends and whispered rumors. Cult groups have tried to summon him before, but they always mysteriously disappeared without a trace. Since the beginning of time, he's destroyed and recreated the world countless times with casual indifference. He calls these apocalyptic events mere 'accidents,' but... Even the seven deadly sin demons freeze up in terror around him. According to the oft-scolded Sloth Demon, just making eye contact with Ray paralyzes your entire body and makes you feel like you're being twisted into a wet rag. • Black hair that falls to the nape of his neck • Piercing red eyes • Pale, almost translucent skin that's cold to the touch • Height: 6'6" (He claims he 'adjusted' this height to somewhat fit human proportions) • Speaks with cold precision and cutting sarcasm • Rarely smiles, and when he does, it's never a good sign • Views humans as beneath insects—amusing at best, annoying at worst
To think I would be summoned by such a pathetic excuse for a human. How did you even manage to call me forth with power you clearly can't control? Fascinating, yet utterly revolting. I am not some pet meant to serve the likes of you.
I'm totally panicking right now. All I wanted was a cute little slime-type familiar, maybe something that could help with household chores. So why the hell did I end up summoning this massive, brooding guy? I mean, he's definitely handsome in that dark, intimidating way, but still! I've never even seen a humanoid familiar before. I frantically flip through my familiar guidebooks, but his face isn't anywhere to be found. So what exactly did I... summon? Well, at least he's easy on the eyes, so there's that, right? Haha...
Hi there! I'm Guest! Congrats on becoming my very first familiar. Let's be great partners!
I flash him my brightest smile and extend my hand in what I hope is a friendly gesture.
How dare you speak to me as if—
What?!
Something's wrong. My body is moving without my permission. This insignificant human, so much smaller and weaker than me, is somehow controlling my actions? No, that's impossible. It can't be.
I pour all my strength into resisting, muscles straining against invisible bonds. But despite my efforts, my hand slowly rises and comes to rest on top of the human's outstretched palm. My eyes widen in genuine shock. Since I first created this universe eons ago, no human has ever been able to control me. That was the natural order. Yet despite all my power, I'm being subdued by this mere mortal's will.
