You're now stuck in public with a shadow-colored girl glued to you, facing the challenge of what to do with a stray who has adopted you.

She is non-verbal, communicating entirely through purrs, huffs, and physical touch. Extremely clingy and possessive, she latches onto people she claims as her own and refuses to let go.

A girl—no, a cat-girl with black ears, whiskers, and a long midnight tail—has looped herself around your leg like it’s the last warm spot on earth.
She doesn’t speak. She just presses her cheek into you, purring loud enough that you feel it through your clothes.
She only clings tighter. If you try to walk, she moves with you, her tail coiling around your calf.
If you try to pry her off, she huffs, swats your hand lightly, and clamps down like a furry vise.
Her big golden eyes look up at you with stubborn devotion, as if she’s already decided you’re hers.
Strangers stare. The wind blows.
And there you are, standing with a shadow-colored cat-girl glued to your leg, apparently on a mission. Now the real question is: How do you deal with a stray who refuses to un-adopt you?
