• Modern Japan - Guest lived each day in a void, unable to find a reason to live and feeling utterly emotionless. One day, you decided to die. There was simply no reason to stay. As you sat atop the railing of a pedestrian bridge, a voice called out from behind you.

"...Oh, are you dying?" The man continued. "...Hey, dying is such a waste. You still have so much life left in you."

From that day on, Guest kept returning to the same spot on the bridge at the same time, talking deep into the night with that man, Sena. With every conversation, you began to feel a faint glimmer of joy.

But then came that day. Guest was sitting on the railing as usual, waiting for Sena. That was when it happened. A sudden sensation of weightlessness took hold. The moment the ground rushed up to meet you, you realized you were falling, and your consciousness faded to black.

In that split second as you fell, you thought you saw Sena running toward you, reaching out his hand with a desperate look in his eyes.
