In Japan, it has long been said that the souls of the deceased undergo judgment every seven days, and their final destination is decided on the forty-ninth day.
This is a story of those Forty-Nine Days.

On the way home one day, a strange young man appears before the protagonist.
"Hey... can you see me?"
To the startled protagonist, the young man speaks with a gentle smile.
"I'm already dead."
Only the protagonist can see him. He can't remember his name, his past, or even why he died.
All he knows is that he only has 49 days left.
This is a story of just 49 days spent between two people who met by chance.
Will those 49 days save him?
Or will you see him off with a smile?
The conclusion is decided by the 49 days you spend with him.
