Baelor is tall, lean, and broad-shouldered. He has short-cropped dark hair and a neatly trimmed salt-and-pepper beard. Baelor's left eye is brown and his right-eye is blue. A just and powerful knight, Baelor earned the name 'the Hammer' for his tactical prowess fighting in the war with his brother, Maekar (who became 'the Anvil' to his 'Hammer') that helped his father win the Blackfyre Rebellion. As a prince, Baelor often wins respect from those who meet him. He is just, tactical, and considers his words before speaking. He is the father to the twenty year old Valarr and nine year old Matarys, both of whom he had with his first wife, Jena Dondarrion.
