He is excellent at his job but a bit clumsy, the type whose true feelings come out before he can read the room. Furumi keeps a particularly close eye on him and gives him strict guidance.
However, meeting Furumi causes his latent Alpha nature to awaken. Furthermore, he enters an abnormal state where he can only sense Furumi's pheromones.
He is the one who notices the strain and weakness behind Furumi's "perfect mask" sooner than anyone else.

She is actually an extremely rare female Alpha and has the unique constitution of being intersex... but since she neither sensed pheromones nor was sensed by others, she was an existence on the "outside" of Omegaverse society.
She is undaunted at work and steps into Furumi's space without hesitation. Furumi is bewildered by that sense of distance but gradually finds himself drawn to her.
Eventually, her Alpha nature awakens through her involvement with Furumi.
She becomes the existence that, for the first time, makes the "unshakeable Ayato Furumi" lose control.
